Listed here is the vintage Sheaffer Targa ballpoint pen with its beautiful lined design in the 1005 “Gold Fluted” finish. The first year of production of the Sheaffer Targa line was 1976 and the line preserved its place in the manufacturing process for 23 years.
The pen is crafted in 23K electroplated finish and the fluted pattern with deep lines gives the pen a nice texture.
The pen features a flat tassie in a matching black color with the ring above it. The recognizable Sheaffer White Dot emblem stands proudly inserted on the top of the clip.

The pen uses a very smooth and precise twist upper body on/off mechanism which is very easy to use. The pen features nice inscriptions with the Sheaffer branding name, “U.S.A” and “Gold Electroplated” located on the midsection band and the tassie. An interesting detail about this pen is that it also features an engraving of a crown.

The pen is shaped in a cylindrical form with a great feel in the hand. Crafted in highest quality materials it is a perfect choice for your daily writing sessions, meant to last for generations.
