Listed here is the vintage pen by the famous Soyuz company which had a factory stationed at Saint Petersburg, it was the only Soviet company at the time manufacturing ultra-high quality writing instruments and their pens represent a response to the many European and American manufacturers at the time.
It's no secret that the Soyuz company among other pen makers also copied some of the western designs, as this pen is obviously a nice retake on the famous Parker 51 and later the Parker 61 with its exterior design and the hooded nib.
The body of the pen is crafted in high quality bakelite plastic material in light gray color which is thick durable and scratch protective hence it provides physical protection of the pen. The cap is thick gold plated and it is finished in a diamond shaped white insert which gives the pen a stylish look.

The pen has a good balance, weight and feel in the hand. The cap posts nicely giving the pen a longer length and stability.
It is fitted with a F fine size gold plated steel nib which is semi flexible and with a light pressure while writing will produce a variety of line width. It has great ink flow and it is smooth on the paper.
The pen features a unique integrated piston converter which can store a substantial amount of ink for long writing sessions with no worries.
All in all a great writing instrument which can serve as a reminder of the times of the high-end Soviet pen manufacturing.

It comes in a mint condition with minimal signs of use.
