The Waterman Carene pens are some of the most technically advanced and precision crafted Waterman instruments. The pencil offered here is the matte finish burgundy red color (on the photos it appears brighter than it actually is). The trimmings are bright palladium plated. The Carene series are large pens, nearly oversize. This mechanical pencil is over 140mm long and over 40 gr. in weight. It features a precise twist on/off mechanism, easy to deploy leads, and most importantly the front steel tip/tube also retracts so it cannot be damaged when not in use. The pencil is in mint condition, near NOS, with no signs of use. Comes with 3 leads, ready to be used.
