Offered here is a very rare and beautiful made by the famous Czechoslovakian company L. & C. Hardtmuth, 4 color mechanical pencil. The L. & C. Hardtmuth is one of the oldest and at one point the biggest pencil companies in Europe. This is the company that also produced the famous line Koh-I-Noor pencils. The pencil offered here is made out of alpacca, so called German Silver which always shines and will never rust. It features a spring-less mechanism with 2 locking slots, one for deploying the leads and one of replacing the leads. The spring-less mechanism is more reliable as it cannot fail as the spring mechanism often does. The model is 07650. Easily unscrew the top crown to reveal the lead reservoir with 4 slots for each color. Each slot point has a turning action for refill deployment and replacement. Simply place the lever on the second slot and turn the tip that comes out from the tip of the pencil, the lead stick comes out. These are still some of the best pencils in the world, hard to match functionality and definitely build quality, build to last and function for generations. The pencil is in absolute mint condition, no scratches or dings. It uses 1.18mm lead refills, readily available at any office supplies store. Comes with 10 refills, 4 installed and 6 spare.
