The Parker 17 Lady Fountain Pen was launched in the 1960's to compliment the larger Parker 17, but even though it was the same design and color, it was a bit smaller to accommodate the lady's hands. Its body is made from a specific green plastic in a dark green color and has a gold filled trimmings. Like all Parker models, Parker 17 Lady has recognizable clip-golden arrow. There are lovely crisps imprint on the barrel. This unique form-factor is compact, but fairly comfortable when posted, it still provides for good balance and feel while writing. The pen features a unique, enclosed nib but surprisingly, it's flexible. It size is F fine, but with a tiny push while writing it will produce M, B and even BB lines. The enclosed nib is also making it harder for it to be damaged if dropped. Around 1964 Parker introduced this specific nib, which writes beautifully. The filling system is aerometric squeezed filler. It is a wet pen, constant writer, a very fine to write with. The writing is straightforward and precise. The cap is simple and reliable slip-on, great for fast deployment. These fountain pen is in a mint condition.
