True generational pen by Parker, the very tough, durable solid stainless steel model 45. These pens are nearly indestructible. The model 45 was Parker's first cartridge model, and it was a great engineering achievement for its time. The pen was originally aimed as a mid class pen, but soon its popularity grew so much, that Parker started to produce high-end luxurious variations of it. Parker 45's are famous for their design, ease of use, durability and versatility. They are easy to fill from any bottle of ink with the bladder converter, or they can use standard Parker cartridges. This stainless steel models are virtually indestructible, thick stainless steel brushed finished, its impossible to ding or damage. The pencil is push button mechanism, smooth and precise. The fountain pen is fitted with a solid stainless steel M medium nib, this is also a very had to damage nib as it is stiff and great for long and demanding work, great for work on any paper, very good and smooth writer. Both pens are very heavy which gives them a great balance, nice feel and grip in the hand. Easy to clean and maintain, the FP's feed unit is a screw-on easy to remove and clean, as well as the bladder. The set comes in its original crosshatch presentation box, superb looks.
