The writing instruments of the 45 line are one of the best ever made by the Parker Company. The 45 model became so popular that Parker started to produce high-end luxurious variations of the fountain pen and the line also offered ballpoint, rollerball pens and mechanical pencils.
This mechanical pencil belongs to the last generation Parker 45, and it was made in the UK.
The Flighter “45” range of pens and pencils consisted of several variants of the model: Black Tassie, Chrome Tassie, No Tassie, Flighter Deluxe, Flighter Deluxe gold tassie, Flighter Deluxe. The 45 Flighter model was manufactured from 1964 until 2008 when it was discontinued.

The Parker Company used to mark their writing instruments with date codes, the P.II code on this pencil in particular indicates that the pen was produced in 2007. The pencil features nie crisp inscriptions which read “Parker” and “Made in UK”.
The pencil is entirely made out of stainless steel which gives it a great look and appeal, but this also makes the pencil nearly indestructible.
The pencil features very high gloss and reflection which is hard to capture on pictures. This look is complemented with beautiful gold plated trimmings.
The clip of the pencil is shaped in the recognizable Parker arrow.

The pencil uses a responsive push button mechanism with a satisfying click sound. The pencil is retractable which protects it from damage. The top part of the pencil slides off and the eraser can be found underneath it.

The pencil has a great grip and due to its heaviness it has a great balance and feel in the hand. It is easy of use and it is the perfect choice for all your daily drawing and drafting sessions.
The pencil uses 0,5 sized leads which are very durable and perfect for any kind of drawing, several leads are included with the pencil.
