The Sheaffer TRZ was a line of slim pens which first got a clip redesign in around 1989 and later on in 1992 the line name was changed into Fashion. The Sheaffer Slim Fashion pens had more straightened clips and the black plastic caps that the earlier TRZ models had were replaced with metal ones. There was also a range of clip-less Fashion pens that was called “In- Fashion” in the mid 80’s and early 90’s which deferred from the slim Fashion pens only by the clip.
In 1993 a wider profile of pens were made for the Fashion line and the thinner profile pens were staged out.

Pens here are a Sheaffer Fashion 293 model with simple and yet very elegant form. The pens are crafted in beautiful emerald green lacquer over solid brass, trimmed with gold plated details. The beautiful design and the unique mixture of colors reminds us of a green jade gemstone. The clip is decorated with the recognizable Sheaffer white dot and nice crisp inscriptions that read “Sheaffer” and “USA”. The  nearly perfect ergonomic design and substantial weight of the pens provide for great balance and feel in the hand.

The rollerball features a slip on cap which can be posed in order to give the pen a longer length and provide comfort while writing. Posting the cap makes the pen 152mm long which is oversize in comparison to other average pens when posted. This pen uses Sheaffer rollerball refills with quality and long lasting ink.

The ballpoint pen has a smooth twist on/off mechanism which is very precise and responsive. It uses a Sheaffer ballpoint refill and the included one is in blue color. Both pens come with their original refills and when depleted they can be used for future purchase reference. The pens are the perfect choice for everyday writing sessions as they provide a smooth writing experience full of comfort.
