Condition and information:
This is the original first series, all time classic pen, the Townsend model, made in the mid 1990's. The pen is in absolute NOS new old stock condition, never used. Pictures do not do justice to this pen, it is difficult to capture in photos due to the extremely high reflections, the pen simply shines. The pen is superb in any way, it has a perfect feel and balance in the hand. Super smooth on the paper, simply writes and nib glides effortlessly. The pen is made out of solid steel and with a very very nice chrome finish, all trimmings are gold plated. The body and cap have nice guilloche lines from top to bottom giving it an astonishing look. The pen features a solid steel M medium size nib, which will write constant medium size, and its simply great clean writer, no excess ink. The pen comes in its original box, with papers and warranty, (stamped in 1997), and also two original Cross ink cartridges as well its original piston converter. This converter is slightly bigger then the typical converters, so it takes much more ink. Its also a beautiful light blue color. This is definitely one of the best pens for every day use, it is super easy to maintain, clean, it is scratch and damage proof, simple to use, with superb build quality and elegant timeless design.
