A pen with a compact physique and great appeal, coming from the once famous TOZ Zagreb Company, formerly known as the MOSTER-PENKALA Company founded by Edmund Moster and Eduard Penkala in 1911. He worked with his German partner and set the foundation for what was to become one of the most successful pen companies in South Europe. After Yugoslavia was unified and socialized, the Penkala company was nationalized and TOZ (Tvornica Olovaka Zagreb) was created. Pens made from celluloid by this company may be the only pens from the 60s that can match the beauty and high quality of the Pelikan 400 models.
The pen is built from top quality materials with a celluloid barrel and a cap, turning knob and grip section crafted in black thick resin, accented with gold plated trimmings. The green pattern with a pearl shine of the celluloid barrel gives the pen a unique look.
The cap features a stamp with the Toz company name and the model number of the pen.

The cap can be posted giving the pen longer length and stability while writing. The pen is well designed to the last detail with a transparent ink window which makes sure the user always knows when their ink is running low.

The pen has a capped piston which has its original silicone cork, functions smoothly and fills the pen to the top each time. The capped piston turning knob was a safety feature first introduced by Kaweco in the 1930, preventing an accidental turning of the knob to happen so there won’t be an accidental spill of the ink. The pen is fitted with an 14K Gold EF extra fine sized nib which is so smooth it feels like a paintbrush on the paper. Depending on the pressure applied while writing it can produce bigger sizes up to triple B BBB broad.
