An eye catching Waterman fountain pen with a unique design with a marble smokey blue color.
The pen is given an interesting name, the first use of the word Laureate was in ancient Greek and Roman times when an award of acheawment was given in a form of a crown of laurel. The symbolism behind the laurel is that the tree was sacred to Apollo who is considered to be the patron of the poets. 
The craftsman used their talent to create this pen as poets put their words on paper to create their poems.

The pen is crafted in a solid brass body with thick lacquer finish made to last. The gold plated trimmings give the pen a luxury appeal. The cap and the clip feature crisp engravings with the Waterman branding name, logo and “France”.

The pen also features a spring loaded clip, which won’t bend when being opened because it is suspended on a spring inside the cap that allows the clip to move up and down. It has a slip-on cap with a satisfying click sound when closing or posting the cap.
When posted the cap and the body of the pen are seamlessly joined together because the front section and the end of the barrel are engineered in the same way in order for the cap to fit perfectly whether capped or posted.

The pen’s ergonomically engineered ribbed section provides for a writing balance and non slippery grip. It feels right in the hand, and the weight provides for a smooth effortless writing experience.
The pen is fitted with a stainless steel gold plated, M medium size nib. A perfect everyday writer, smooth, very precise with no skipping, and streaking. The pen can be used with Waterman cartridges or you can simply refill it from an ink bottle with a converter.
