TOZ Penkala was a famous pen company founded in Zagreb Croatia in 1936. They had very close collaboration with many of the top pen manufacturers in Europe at the time, they even bought the rights to produce Montblanc Pens, i.e. they produced identical Monte Rosa pens virtually 1:1 function and design but only with their brand name. The Rexpen brand was their sub-brand high-end writing interments. From this line they produced the Diplomat and Diplomat Premier such as the pens here, which was simply the best product they produced. The pens offered here are those high-quality high end writing instruments. They are made in the popular form factor at the time, with sharp edges, innovative materials such as lightweight but brushed aluminum, cartridge filling and slip-on cap. Similar models were the Markant 7220, some Reform pens and even the Montblanc Noblesse pens. 

Both pens are amazing. The fountain pen features an easy cartridge filling action, very smooth nib, EF size, very precise and smooth on the paper. Posted or not it feels wonderfully in the hand. The ballpoint pen uses standard refills, new one will be provided with the pen. The deeply brushed aluminum provides excellent grip and does not show hands oil. The pens feature a different color top-logos, the fountain pen blue, meant to be used with blue cartridges, and the ballpoint black, mean to be used with black refills. The ballpoint has a smooth and precise upper body push mechanism. Both pens are in never used condition, and come in their original lacquered presentation box. Excellent, trouble free and easy to maintain fountain and ballpoint pens for everyday use.
